My background is unusual for a transformation professional: eleven years as a Weapons Engineering Officer in nuclear submarines gave me a systems engineering mindset that I have applied to every organisational challenge since. After the Navy, four years at PRTM — then the world’s leading operational innovation consultancy — built the transformation craft.
The two decades since have tested it against outcomes that could not be fudged: EBITDA bridges reported to PE steering committees, programme recovery dates reported to capital markets, and operating models that had to outlast the engagement.
I am a Chartered Engineer, MBA, Six Sigma Black Belt and APICS Certified Supply Chain Practitioner. I am bilingual in English and Portuguese, work in French and Spanish, and hold UK and Portuguese passports.
