“The difference between a panel and a conversation is almost always the quality of the facilitation — someone who knows the subject, knows the room and knows when to ask the question everyone is thinking but nobody has said.”
I have facilitated executive roundtables, moderated conference panels and delivered keynotes for some of the leading organisations in supply chain, operations and advanced manufacturing — including The Ortus Club, CSCMP, SAP and the Open Data Institute. What I bring that is less common than it should be is genuine subject matter expertise combined with the experience of having sat in the room as both practitioner and executive. I know what the real questions are, which means I know how to ask them — and how to hear what is not being said.
I create environments where every voice is heard, where the conversation moves from interesting to actionable, and where participants leave with something they can use — not just a memory of an enjoyable discussion.

Executive Roundtable Facilitation and Panel Moderation

Intimate, invitation-only discussions for C-suite and senior leadership audiences require a particular kind of facilitation — one that sets the agenda without constraining the conversation, draws out the genuine insights rather than the rehearsed positions, and ensures the discussion moves from interesting to actionable. I have facilitated roundtables for technology companies, PE firms, professional bodies and industry associations on topics including supply chain resilience, AI and data strategy, digital transformation, risk management and advanced manufacturing.
For conference panels I bring the same rigour — preparing thoroughly, asking the questions the audience wants answered rather than the ones that are easy to answer, and managing the energy and time of the room with intention. A well-moderated panel illuminates. A poorly moderated one performs.
Recent facilitation includes:
The Ortus Club: Multiple executive roundtable facilitation sessions on supply chain risk and resilience, data management in digital transformation, driver retention, and AI and data strategy in partnership with SAP and the Open Data Institute.
CSCMP Edge Europe Conference, Madrid: Workshop facilitator and panel contributor to an international audience of supply chain leaders, academics and practitioners.
CSCMP International Webinar Series: Panel moderator and contributor on US-UK supply chain disruption and logistics workforce challenges.
Speaking
I speak on supply chain transformation, additive manufacturing and supply chain, the leadership of complex change, and the emerging question of how organisations build management capability in an age of AI and automation. My speaking is direct, evidence-based and grounded in practical experience — I do not deal in hype or prediction, and I do not use slides as a substitute for substance.
With more than fifty international conference keynote and panel appearances across Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific, I bring the same preparation and rigour to a thirty-minute keynote as to a full-day workshop. Every session is tailored to the specific audience and context — I do not deliver the same talk twice.
Topic areas include:
Supply chain transformation: Strategy, resilience and the people, process and technology framework for building supply chains that perform under pressure.
Additive manufacturing and supply chains: From technology to business case — what supply chain leaders need to understand, decide and do.
The leadership of complex change: What the first 90 days actually look like, what governance structures actually work, and why most transformation programmes fail for the same predictable reasons.
The workforce and management capability challenge: How organisations will build the management capability of the future when AI and automation are transforming the early career years that used to create it.
Digital supply chain: What it actually means, what it requires, and how to get there without the technology becoming the destination rather than the vehicle.
